Lauren Senft and New Skating Partner!

Lauren Senft (Class of 2005) has a new skating dance partner - Augie Hill. Augie is American but has moved to Windsor, Ontario (to establish permanent residency status and Canadian citizenship) and commutes daily across the border to train with Lauren in Canton, MI. They are training under renowned Russian coaches, Igor Shpilband and Marina Zoueva. Lauren continues to live in Ypsilanti, right next to Ann Arbor.
Augie and Lauren will be competing in the BC Sections Championship in Kamloops this November, then the Challenge
event in Mississsauga in December, and then the BMO Canadian Championships in
Vancouver in January 16-20, 2008. Their event is Senior Dance. You can order tickets through Skate Canada . The venue will be the Olympic site - the Vancouver Coliseum.
On top of an unbelievbely rigorous training and competition schedule, Lauren is taking courses at Eastern Michigan University (transferring from York University) in the Criminal Justice Program. Below is a recent photo of Lauren and Augie.
